One of the promotions that Wendy's is currently pushing towards is customers if that on a more nutritious menu. When people think of wendy's the top competitors McDonalds and Burger King come to mind. all three companies are continuously going back at forth with menu alterations. A few years back both McDonalds and Burger King brought the "all/real" white meat chicken campaign to their menu. Or course, Wedny's chicken nuggets and chicken sandwhiches were already 100% white meat, so they were already ahead of the curve. Wendy's has always had salads on their menu; they have just recently added a couple new salds. the constant favorite is the Mandarin Chicken salad. The newest addition to the Wendy's menu is the Taco salad. this new salad is an alteration of a old favorite.
Another thing Wendy's does to inform its customers about its nutritional facts is have a "nutrition" page off of their homepage. This page opens to a new menu which allows the customers to research different things. different pages off of the nutrition page include a nutrition guide to everything on the Wendy's menu, as well as facts about food allergies and diabetes. two other things that are included are pages on Wendy's regional promotions and safe eating tips. so, you cannot just say that Wendy's is all about making money (even though they mostly are) they are still promoting healthy nutritious eating. so once again Wendy's has proven to be head and shoulders about its competition, how can you go anywhere else.
